About me
I am the Director of Programs for the Orion DCP El Dorado, Rose Hill, and Northeast Wichita locations. These locations provide education options for K-12 students in a virtual setting (VIP), 9-12 students in an alternative setting (STAR), and Adult students.
In the STAR program, we serve high school students that are in an alternative setting. These students have regular attendance each day in a classroom. The attendance sites for these students are Northeast Wichita and Rose Hill.
In the VIP program, we serve virtual students. These students are high school, middle school, elementary school, and students that did not graduate with their cohort class, typically known as "5th-year seniors". All of the VIP students attend virtually unless they choose to make an appointment to work at one of our VIP Labs in Northeast Wichita or Rose Hill.
In the Adult program, we serve adults who are 19 and older that did not graduate with their cohort class. The Adult attendance centers are in Northeast Wichita, El Dorado, and Rose Hill in their learning lab.
